PM grieved over loss of lives in floods, sanctions ex-gratia relief

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is grieved to learn about the loss of life due to the recent floods in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. The Prime Minister has sanctioned an ex-gratia of rupees one lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to the next of kin of the persons deceased.
