The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) has been constituted. The composition of the Committee will be as follows:

1. Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Minister of Defence - Chairman

2. Shri Sharad Pawar, Minister of Agriculture;Food & Civil Supplies; Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution.

3. Shri Lalu Prasad, Minister of Railways

4. Shri Shivraj Patil, Minister of Home Affairs

5. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers; Steel

6. Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Urban Development

7. Shri T.R. Baalu, Minister of Road Transport & Highways; Shipping

8. Shri H.R. Bhardwaj, Minister of Law & Justice.

Shri Suresh Pachauri, Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, and Parliamentary Affairs; Shri B.K. Handique, Minister of State in the Ministry of Defence, and Parliamentary Affairs; Shri Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office; and Smt. Suryakanta Patil, Minister of State in the Ministry of Rural Development and Parliamentary Affairs will be the Special Invitees.
