PM condoles death of Dr. Madhu Dandavate

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has expressed grief over the death of former Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission and former Union Finance Minister, Dr. Madhu Dandavate.

In a message, the Prime Minister said that Dr. Madhu Dandavate upheld the highest values in public life. An outstanding Parliamentarian, his participation in debates and in the activities of Parliament will be cherished for a long time. He would also be remembered for his invaluable contribution to public services in his long and distinguished political career.

The Prime Minister conveyed his condolences to the members of his family.
