PM greets the Nation on Onam

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Onam.
 
In a message, the Prime Minister said Onam is a celebration of life and hope and a remembrance of the legendary and joyous past. The festival also heralds the harvest season and is a mark of the secular traditions of Kerala.

May the festival bring happiness and prosperity to all, the Prime Minister added.
