PM greets the Nation on the occasion of Vaisakhi, Vishu, Puthandu, Mesadi, Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the Nation on the eve of the joyous occasion of Vaisakhi, Vishu, Puthandu, Mesadi, Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu.
 
In a message, the Prime Minister said that these traditional New Year celebrations remind us of the importance of farming to our economy and also the outstanding achievements of our farmers.

May Vaisakhi, Vishu, Puthandu, Mesadi, Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all, the Prime Minister added.
