PM condoles the passing away of Mrs. Asha DigVijay Singh

The Prime Minister has condoled the passing away of Mrs. Asha Digvijay Singh, wife of senior Congress leader Mr. Digvijay Singh. 

The text of the Prime Minister's condolence message is as follows:

"I was deeply grieved to learn of the passing away of Asha ji. Her untimely demise has come as a particularly painful shock to all those who knew her.

Words are scant comfort at difficult moments like this. I pray that you and the rest of the family have the strength and the courage to bear this most grievous loss.  Please accept my sincerest condolences."
