PM congratulates scientists on successful launch of Chandrayan-1
I am happy to learn that the 14th flight of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C11) has successfully launched the Chandrayaan-1 satellite, marking the historic beginning of India's first scientific mission to Moon.
This important event has yet again demonstrated the nation's growing technological potential in peaceful exploration of outer space.
I congratulate the entire ISRO community on this momentous occasion. I would also like to congratulate the space agencies of USA and Bulgaria as well as the European Space Agency who have contributed to this mission.
