PDP leader meets the Prime Minister over J&K situation

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Shri Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, PDP leader held wideranging discussions on the situation prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir, here today. The talks were held in a warm and cordial atmosphere and covered all aspects of the current situation. There was near unanimity of views on what needed to be done. Both leaders referred to the importance of the coalition Government in Jammu and Kashmir and the vital need to implement the shared vision of peace and tranquility in the State which is enshrined in the National Common Minimum Programme. Further consultations will be held to advance this objective.
