The Prime Minister has expressed deep sorrow and shock over the loss of life in the rail accident this morning  near Gonda in Uttar Pradesh in which the Gorakhdham express derailed. The Prime Minister has directed the Ministry of Railways to deploy all available resources in the area for the rescue and relief operations. He has also appealed for calm in the area so that rescue and relief operations can be carried out smoothly.
