I am deeply grieved to learn of the sad demise of Shri Profulla Chandra Borua, a veteran journalist of our country.

Shri Borua was a man of courage and professional integrity and became a role model to a whole generation of journalists in the North East.

On this said occasion, I convey my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and admirers. I pray for peace of the departed soul.
