The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami.

In a message, the Prime Minister described the festival as a celebration of Lord Ram's life of righteousness and truth.

We should  renew our commitment to these ideals on this occassion, the Prime Minister added.
