The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) has been constituted with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh as Chairman. The members of the Committee will be as follows:

1. Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Minister of Defence
2. Shri Shivraj Patil, Minister of Home Affairs
3. Shri P. Chidambaram, Minister of Finance
4. Shri K. Natwar Singh, Minister of External Affairs
