PM visits J&K House to pay tribute to venerable Kushok Bakula

The Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited Jammu & Kashmir House here today and placed a wreath on the mortal remains of Buddhist spiritual leader of Ladakh, former Member of Parliament and diplomat Venerable Kushok Bakula.

Paying tribute to venerable Kushok Bakula, Shri Vajpayee noted in the condolence register: ~In the death of noble Lama Kushok Bakula, we have lost a great saint, guide and inspiring personality of the Buddhist world. It is difficult to imagine Ladakh without him.~
