PM greets nation on Id-ul-Fitr

The Prime Minister greeted the Nation on ID-UL-FITR and said the festival of Id is an important celebration of India’s diverse cultural mosaic, which marks the culmination of Ramzan – a month of fasting, prayers and sacrifice. The festival which symbolises joy in mutual sharing gives the message of peace, tolerance, brotherhood and compassion. Let Id, this year, inspire people from all walks of life to rededicate themselves to the task of strengthening communal harmony and nation building with renewed vigour, Shri Vajpayee added.
