PM condoles the passing away of former Chief Minister Janardhan Reddy

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has condoled the passing away of former Chief  Minister of Andhra Pradesh and veteran Congress leader N.  Janardhan Reddy. The Prime Minister in his condolence message described Mr. Janardhan Reddy as a valued friend and colleague who served the country with dedication and commitment to the public good.

A sitting member of the Rajya Sabha, Janardhan Reddy ji was a widely respected leader who distinguished himself  in various capacities in a public career spanning more than four decades. He was Chief  Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the early nineties and was later elected to the Lok Sabha three times.

The Prime Minister said that in the passing away of  Janardhan Reddy ji, the country and the state  of Andhra Pradesh have lost an illustrious son.
